The T300 12K carbon fiber sheet has a tensile strength of approximately 3,530 MPa and offers balanced performance, making it suitable for general industrial applications as well as sports and leisure products.
There are various manufacturing processes for carbon fiber sheets, and the choice of process depends primarily on product performance, cost, and production volume. Common processes include:
Compression Molding: Pre-preg (carbon fiber fabric pre-impregnated with resin) is placed into a mold and cured under high temperature and pressure to form the final product. This method offers high dimensional accuracy and is suitable for mass-producing complex-shaped components.
Pull-trusion: Resin-impregnated carbon fiber is continuously pulled through a heated die, where it cures and takes shape. This continuous production method is highly efficient and suitable for manufacturing profiles with constant cross-sections, such as the main spars in wind turbine blades.
Vacuum Bag/Autoclave Process: After laying up the prepreg, it is placed in a vacuum bag or an autoclave and cured under pressure and high temperature. This method effectively removes air bubbles, resulting in panels with the best performance; it is commonly used in high-end fields such as aerospace.

1. Civil Engineering and Building Reinforcement
T300-12K carbon fiber panels are commonly used as reinforcement materials for concrete beams, slabs, and columns to enhance their flexural and shear strength. They are also used to repair structures such as bridge piers, chimneys, and tunnels. The 12K tow specification provides a good balance between performance and cost in these applications.
2. Automotive and Transportation Weight Reduction
In the design of electric vehicle battery enclosures, T300-12K carbon fiber fabric is layered in combination with 3K fabric. The use of 12K material helps reduce costs while achieving the goal of lightweighting the enclosure. It is also suitable for cost-sensitive components such as automotive interior parts.
3. Sports and Recreational Equipment
Due to its cost-effectiveness and ease of processing, T300-grade carbon fiber is used in entry-level bicycle frames, fishing rods, and structural components for radio-controlled (RC) models.
4. General Industry and Decorative Applications
It is used to manufacture non-extreme load-bearing structural components that require light weight and high rigidity, such as drone arms, camera mounts, and machine tool guards. Additionally, the surface texture of 12K woven fabric is coarser than that of 3K, making it suitable for decorative surfaces on products with specific stylistic requirements.
