During the 2026 Dongguan Tangxia “Golden Horse Celebrates the New Year, Joyful Lantern Festival” cultural series, Xinshou New Materials had the privilege of participating in the Intangible Cultural Heritage + Cultural Creativity + Culinary Market, where we set up a booth to showcase innovative products made from carbon fiber and hemp fiber composites. This grand event was not only filled with festive cheer but also served as a valuable platform for us to engage directly with the public.

Our booth showcased a variety of finished composite products, including badminton rackets, pickleball rackets, Apple Watch bands, and eco-friendly hemp fiber bags. Among these, the carbon fiber badminton rackets became the center of attention at the event thanks to their lightweight yet rigid properties. Many visitors were amazed by the rackets’ feel after trying them out; even though they weren’t available for immediate purchase, they were happy to pay in advance, looking forward to having the products shipped to their homes once they were ready. This trust has been a great source of encouragement for us.

Staff actively educated the public about carbon fiber composites, explaining their advantages of high strength and low weight, as well as the eco-friendly properties of hemp fiber. Through hands-on demonstrations and interactive Q&A sessions, we helped more people understand that these materials not only enhance product performance but also align with the concept of green living.
Lantern Festival Fusion: Innovative Splendor in a Traditional Festival
During the Lantern Festival, our tech products complemented traditional elements such as dragon and lion dances and displays of intangible cultural heritage. One resident joked, “After holding a carbon-fiber tennis racket and then solving lantern riddles, it felt like both ancient and modern cultures came to life in my hands.” This cross-cultural interaction perfectly embodies the unique atmosphere of the Tangxia Lantern Festival, which both preserves tradition and embraces innovation.
